The Certificate for Graduates Montessori Extended Curriculum offers a program for those who already hold a Montessori Institute qualification of Diploma level or above. It is suitable for individuals with a Montessori Institute qualification for one focus age group who wish to be qualified in Montessori curriculum for another focus age group.
This non-award course is appropriate for those working in Montessori educational environments.
THE COURSE IS DESIGNED FOR:
- Graduates of a Montessori Institute qualification (Diploma or Graduate Diploma) who wish to train in an adjacent age group
Please note: this course it is not a teaching qualification on its own.
- 0-3 years Birth to Three
- 3-6 years Children’s House
- 6-12 years Primary
The Certificate for Graduates is divided into four study units:
- Foundations or Geometry
- Language and Literacy
- Culture and Integrated Studies
- 140 hours of Teaching Practice
- One Practical Examination
The course can be completed full time in one year or up to two years part time. If completing the course in one year, travel interstate will be required to ensure attendance at all workshops.
Approximate study times for the Certificate for Graduates Extended Curriculum are:

Workshop fees are paid at time of registration @ $130 per day (19 days maximum)
EXAMINATION FEE One practical exam $210
Note: fees are subject to annual increment.
