The Certificate in Montessori Studies Modules 3-6 years (option to include 0-3 years)

These modules offer training in Montessori education. These are suitable for teacher assistants, family day care and playgroup leaders who already hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an alternative Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) recognised qualification).

The Certificate in Montessori Studies Modules 3-6 years prepares candidates with the knowledge and understanding of the Montessori philosophy and approach, as well as the specific Montessori curriculum, for the early childhood years.

There are three modules available, please see CIMS modules brochure and application form.

• Practical Life and Sensorial
• Environment and Language
• Cognitive and Physical Development

One semester per module

ADMISSIONS POLICY:

Students may enrol in these modules at any time of the year. Application into the CIMS modules is through direct application to the Institute and is dependent upon formal assessment of the minimum entry requirement-Teacher Registration or relevant professional qualification for employment.

3. You will be notified of the success of your application, please allow 3 weeks for processing.

The Montessori Institute is committed to recognising previous studies and other relevant prior learning that contributes towards satisfying requirements for its courses.
