WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MONTESSORI INSTITUTE COURSE AND OTHERS ON OFFER IN AUSTRALIA?
The Montessori Institute is a provider of the nationally accredited CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and the CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Montessori training days are included alongside these units and graduates will receive a separate statement detailing their Montessori training.
Our other training programs are not accredited but are highly regarded in Montessori schools and centres.
EMPLOYMENT: Individual employers, including state education departments, may have their own eligibility requirements and recruitment policies.
ARE ALL COMPONENTS OF THE MODULE/UNIT EXTERNAL?
No, compulsory curriculum face-to-face workshops are held in Australia and professional experience is undertaken in an Australian school or centre.
ARE WORKSHOPS HELD NEAR ME?
We make a commitment to regularly hold workshops on the West Coast and East Coast of Australia. Please refer to the Workshop Calendar.
Locations of workshops include the Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney areas.
DO I NEED TO ATTEND THE WORKSHOPS?
Yes, you must attend all of the required workshops for the age group focus of your enrolled module/unit. At the workshops you will gain knowledge about the Montessori curriculum, how to use the Montessori equipment and how to present material to the children in your age grouping.
