ONLINE Introduction to the Montessori Approach – Curriculum

This Short Course is presented by the Montessori Institute which has offered external study courses in Australia since 1983. The course gives an introduction to the Montessori approach and curriculum for teachers, classroom assistants, students, parents and anyone interested in using the Montessori approach and curriculum. The five sessions cover the following topics:

  • Adult and the Environment
  • Introduction to Practical Life
  • Introduction to Sensorial Education
  • Introduction to Language
  • Introduction to Cognitive and Physical Development

Note: For detailed information on the materials and their presentations, participants are urged to attend full Curriculum workshops for the age group of interest.

The workshop is being held over five 2-hr online sessions on Wednesdays: 29th April, 6th May, 20th May, 27th May & 3rd June 2026 (5.30pm-7.30pm AEST, 3.30pm-5.30pm WA, 5pm-7pm SA) on Microsoft Teams.
