The development of control of their bodies will influence, in a profound way, children’s experiences of, and success in, the world. This interactive workshop is open to teachers, classroom assistants, students, parents and anyone interested in working in a Montessori educational environment. The workshop will explore the topics below:
- importance of movement
- myelinisation
- development of equilibrium
- aids for gross and fine motor development
- indirect preparation for Mathematics
and include information on activities and selection of elements to support gross and fine motor development.
