Fees

Course fees are outlined in the Application forms. The module fee for the Diploma of  Education (Montessori), the  Certificate in Montessori Studies 0-5 or 3-6 years and the Graduate Diploma (Montessori) courses covers the Study Guide, workshop fees, a personal tutor and curriculum guides, but excludes examination fees. The Diploma of Montessori Leadership and Practice course fee covers your Study Guide, tutor and Curriculum Guides, but workshop fees are paid separately.

Montessori textbooks should be purchased separately or are available from the Institute library for loan. You will also need to obtain your own materials for making curriculum materials (teaching aids) for assessment.

GRADUATE DIPLOMA OF EDUCATION (MONTESSORI)

Montessori Curriculum 3-6 years (Early Childhood 0-8 years)
Montessori Curriculum 6-12 years (Primary 5-12 years)

DIPLOMA OF EDUCATION (MONTESSORI)

The course covers all aspect of Child Development and Education from 0-12 years. Students focus on 0-3 years, 3-6 years or 6-12 years in the Montessori Curriculum.

CERTIFICATE IN MONTESSORI STUDIES 0-5 or 3-6 YEARS

A non-Award course suitable for those working in child care, family day care or playgroup leaders

REFUNDS

Course enrolments are not transferable to another person, and course enrolment fees are not refundable after a period of one month (30 days) from date of enrolment. There are no refunds available thereafter and no refund for any module fees paid. An administrative fee of $500 will be deducted from any refund made within the specified period of time.

ENROLMENTS AND DEFERRALS

Students must be enrolled in at least ONE module per semester to maintain active enrolment in the course.

Modules have end dates each Semester after which, if work is not completed, will be recorded as a fail. Students will need to re-enrol and pay the Module fee again.  Any work completed to a satisfactory standard before this time, may be credited upon re-enrolment. A pass mark of 65% is required for all modules, assessments and examinations.

In some circumstances, enrolled students are able to request in writing an extension or deferral of up to of one (1) year of the course duration.
